Welcome to the section dedicated to hiking.

In this section, I share my most beautiful hikes. SEE THE LIST OF HIKES.

At the summit of Goleon, 3427 meters above sea level.
Second part. See the first part.

After a break and a discussion with a mountain trail enthusiast, we descended approximately by the same route as on the way up, except that we left the ridge earlier to set foot on the glacier, not crevassed in its upper part, which allowed us to descend quickly with the “glided step” technique dear to Pascal and which was, for me, the opportunity for a little snow school without crampons.
After the glacier, we found the Maurian, which sometimes played with the snow before feeding the Goleon lake further down.

Water games in the Maurian.

Sometimes it also had fun descending faster into narrow gorges.

Passing back through Goleon Lake allowed us to rest at the water's edge, enjoying the warm afternoon sun and the view of the Meije.

But we shouldn't wait too long before returning, because here the descent is still long to return to the starting point...
